Mobile & On-Site Blasting

Dustless blasting mixes water with the abrasive, which knocks down most of the airborne dust — it greatly reduces dust, it doesn't eliminate it. That makes it the right choice for homes, neighborhoods, storefronts, marinas and occupied sites where dry blasting would make a mess. It's done on-site at your home, business, marina, plant or job site, so it's the answer for large items that can't come to the shop. What's needed on-site: access, a water source where needed, a drained pool for pool work, and any HOA, marina or building permission. We'll sort all that out when you book.

Proud to Serve Pearland & the Bay Area

We serve customers from Pearland across Brazoria, Harris and Fort Bend counties. Mobile blasting comes to your home, business, marina, plant or job site.

On-Site Jobs

Brick Paint Removal & Stripping

We strip old paint off brick — brick paint removal and brick paint stripping — with wet abrasive or soda at a pressure that lifts the paint without etching the brick face.

Graffiti Removal

Graffiti removal from plain walls and surfaces — done only with the property owner's permission, and never on murals.

Pool Sandblasting & Tile Calcium Removal

Pool sandblasting before resurfacing and pool tile calcium removal — the pool is drained below the tile line so we can work it clean.

Driveways, Concrete & Boats

Driveways and concrete cleaning, plus boats and boat trailers — large items that can't come to the shop, blasted on-site.

A note on lead paint. Paint on homes, brick or metal from before 1978 may contain lead. Older painted surfaces may need to be tested for lead and handled under the rules that apply, and we never blast lead paint without precautions.

Media Blasting

Choosing the right blasting media is the whole job. Different surfaces need different abrasives — here's the short version.

MediaBest forFinish
Soda (baking soda)Delicate surfaces, fiberglass, paint & grimeGentle, clean
Glass beadAluminum, engine parts, metalSmooth, satin
Plastic mediaThin metals, compositesSoft, no warping

Soda Blasting for Boats & Delicate Surfaces

Baking soda is gentle — it lifts paint and grime off delicate surfaces, including fiberglass boat hulls, without gouging the gel coat. It's the go-to for boats and anything thin or soft.

Corn Cob & Walnut Shell Blasting

Soft organic media for wood, log homes and delicate surfaces — they clean and strip without the bite of harder abrasives, so they're right for surfaces that can't take much pressure.

Log Home Restoration & Log Cabin Blasting

For customers with log or timber homes, cabins and weekend properties, log cabin blasting strips old stain, graying and mildew off the logs so they're ready to re-stain. Corn cob and walnut shell are the soft organic media we use on wood — they clean without gouging the logs. If your log home or cabin is weathering, call and we'll talk through what it needs.

Why This Matters Here

Painted brick, graffiti, pool scale and boats are all over the Bay Area. Salt air off Galveston Bay and the humid subtropical climate grow mildew and scale on everything that sits outside — pool tile, brick, boat hulls, log homes. Boating and marina life on Clear Lake and Galveston Bay means a lot of boat trailers, dock hardware and marine metal that live in salt and spray. Dustless and media blasting is the on-site answer for all of it — gentle enough for brick, fiberglass and logs, tough enough for pool scale and old paint.

Care & Prevention

Rinse blasted-and-refinished surfaces with fresh water, especially near the bay. For pool tile, keep up with calcium so it doesn't build back up. For log homes, re-stain on schedule after blasting so the logs don't weather again. For boats, rinse the hull with fresh water after every outing to keep salt from setting in.

What Media Blasting Costs

What affects the cost: the size of the surface, the media needed, how much paint, grime or scale has to come off, access and water on site, any HOA or marina permission, and travel distance for mobile work. We quote every job after we see it.

Job typePriceWhat affects it
Brick paint removal (per wall)Quoted after we see itArea, paint layers, media, access
Graffiti removalQuoted after we see itSurface, area, paint type
Pool tile calcium removalQuoted after we see itTile line length, scale, drain needed
Boat / boat trailer blastingQuoted after we see itSize, old paint, media, marina access

Price depends on the surface size, the media needed, how much paint, grime or scale must come off, access and water on site, any HOA or marina permission, and travel distance for mobile work. Your exact price is set after we see it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is dustless blasting really dust-free?

No — dustless blasting greatly reduces airborne dust, it doesn't eliminate it. Mixing water with the abrasive knocks most of the dust down, which is why it suits homes, neighborhoods, storefronts, marinas and occupied sites where dry blasting would make a mess. There's still some dust and cleanup, just far less.

Can you remove paint from brick without damaging it?

Yes, with the right media and pressure. Brick is softer than it looks, so we use wet abrasive or soda blasting at a lower pressure to lift the paint without etching or pitting the brick face. Paint on homes or brick from before 1978 may contain lead — older painted surfaces may need to be tested for lead and handled under the rules that apply, and we never blast lead paint without precautions.

Do you need to drain the pool for tile calcium removal?

Usually yes — for pool tile calcium removal, the pool is drained below the tile line so we can work the tile clean. Pool sandblasting before resurfacing also needs access to the empty pool surface. We'll tell you exactly what's needed on-site when we book it.

What is the best blasting media for paint removal?

It depends on the surface. For tough paint on steel, a harder abrasive works. For paint on brick, fiberglass or delicate surfaces, soda or plastic media is gentler. We choose the media after we see the job — there's no one media for everything.

Is soda blasting safe for a fiberglass boat hull?

Yes — soda blasting is one of the gentlest methods and is commonly used on fiberglass boat hulls to strip old bottom paint and grime without gouging the gel coat. Baking soda is soft enough to clean delicate surfaces while still lifting paint and grime.
