Why We Started
Clear Creek Powder Coating & Blasting started with a simple frustration: metal rusts fast on the Gulf Coast, and too many shops either cut corners on prep or couldn't explain what they were doing. We built this shop to do it right — blast to bare metal, lay down a proper cured finish, and tell people the truth about what their parts need. Named for Clear Creek, the waterway that runs through Pearland, Friendswood, League City and Webster out to Clear Lake, we're proud to be local to Pearland and to serve the neighbors around it.
The Texas coast is hard on metal. Muggy air most of the year, salt off Galveston Bay, hurricane rain and flooding, and strong summer sun all work together to rust, fade and peel ordinary finishes. We started this shop because our neighbors kept showing up with the same problems — a rusted gate, a chalky set of wheels, a trailer frame eaten by road salt, a boat trailer flaking after one season at the ramp. We knew the fix was always the same underneath: strip it clean, prep it right, and put on a finish that was actually built for this climate.

How We Approach the Work
Every job starts the same way: we look at what you've actually got. A photo or a quick call tells us the size, the current finish, and how much old coating or rust has to come off. From there we can tell you the right method — dry sandblasting for heavy rust and thick paint, wet dustless blasting for brick and occupied sites, soda or soft media for delicate surfaces, and an oven-cured powder coat for a finish that holds up to chips, fading and corrosion far better than most spray paint.
Powder coating and shop blasting happen in the shop — the powder has to cure in an oven, so the coating itself can't be done in your driveway. But dustless and mobile blasting comes to you, whether that's a home, a business, a marina, a plant or a job site. We'll tell you plainly which jobs belong where, and we'll never talk you into a process that doesn't fit your part.
Built for the Gulf Coast
We work on the things this coast throws at metal every day. That means boat trailers and dock hardware that live in salt spray around Clear Lake and Galveston Bay; wrought iron gates and fences baking in the sun and soaking in storm rain; truck and trailer frames carrying road salt and grime; and the structural steel, pipe and equipment that line the refineries and port terminals along the Houston Ship Channel. The finish we put on has to outlast ordinary paint in all of it — and it does, because we prep it right first.
