Powder Coating vs Paint
A cured powder finish is thicker and tougher than most spray paint. The powder is sprayed with an electrostatic charge, then baked in an oven so it flows into a hard, even coat that resists chips, fading and corrosion better than liquid paint — and it contains no solvents. That's why it holds up so well in humid, salty coastal air. Paint still makes sense where you need a thin film, a touch-up, or a finish that isn't oven-curable, and we'll tell you when that's the better call.

Part of the Bay Area
We're proud to serve Pearland and its neighbors — from the subdivisions along State Highway 288 to the waterfront around Clear Lake and Galveston Bay, and the plants along the Ship Channel. The same heat, humidity and salt that make this place beautiful also make metal rust, and that's the work we love doing for the people who live here.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does powder coating cost?
There's no flat price — the cost depends on the size and number of parts, how much old coating and rust has to come off, the surface or substrate, the finish and number of coats, your color choice, masking, any repairs, and removal and reinstallation for installed pieces. Travel distance matters for mobile work. We quote every job after we see it, so call or send a photo and you'll get a straight number.
What can you powder coat?
Most any metal that can take the heat of curing in an oven — brackets, signs, equipment, boat and marine hardware, motorcycle and ATV parts, trailers, wheels, architectural and commercial metal, and gates, fences, railings and patio furniture. We'll tell you plainly if a part isn't a good candidate.
Do you come to my home, marina or plant?
Yes for blasting and prep. Dustless and mobile blasting is done on-site at your home, business, marina, plant or job site. The powder coating itself is cured in an oven in the shop, so the coating is a shop job — but the blasting and prep can come to you.
How do I get a quote?
Call us, or fill out the Request a Quote form and tell us what needs coating or blasting, roughly how big it is, and the finish you want. Photos help a lot. Send your two best days and times and a real person will call to confirm.
